Lighting and VRF Automation

Lighting circuits and fan-coil units throughout the Nickelodeon Play! are controlled locally or centrally according to operational requirements. Automated management of temperature, operating modes and lighting levels improves user comfort while optimizing energy consumption.

Central Monitoring and Control System

The operating status of lighting and HVAC systems can be monitored in real time through a central management interface. Authorized users can review system conditions, make necessary adjustments from a single point and manage building operations more efficiently.

Scheduled Scenarios

Lighting and HVAC systems operate automatically according to building occupancy hours and the operating schedules of different areas. Opening, closing, night and energy-saving scenarios are activated at predefined times, supporting operational continuity and energy efficiency.

Across the themed play, event and common areas of Nickelodeon Play! Tersane Istanbul, lighting scenes, sensor-based area control, climate management, energy efficiency and central monitoring were integrated through a KNX infrastructure.

At Nickelodeon Play! Tersane Istanbul, the different operating requirements of themed play zones, event spaces, circulation areas and support facilities were addressed through KNX building automation.

The system applies separate preparation, visitor, event, low-occupancy, cleaning and closing scenarios. Lighting and climate systems operate automatically according to schedules and area usage information received from sensors.

Theme-appropriate lighting scenes are activated in occupied areas, while unnecessary energy consumption is reduced in unused zones. After closing, non-critical lighting and managed loads are switched off automatically and the facility enters night mode.

Technical teams can centrally monitor operating conditions, temperature values, system warnings and technical alarms across different zones.
